By now you know we move RV’s.
But…
Did you know that we love them as well? Absolutely love
everything about them.
The question remains though, on how BICO and the RV world
come together?
The answer is easy…let’s show you…
First of all, we have RV’s that need to get from the vendor
or manufacture to the buyer. Sometimes people are so excited that they go down
and drive that bad boy home. Most of the time, it gets shipped to the buyer’s
address, and BICO is one of those companies who love to haul RV’s.
Secondly, there are RV’s that break down. BICO doesn’t
usually take business away from tow trucks, but we’d be happy to stop if we had
an empty trailer while we passed you. Depending on the issue, the tow truck
takes the RV into town, and then a lot of the time it needs to go to a
specialist (aka dealership) for repairs. That is where BICO steps in and takes
the RV to where it needs to go. Then, we also get the opportunity to pick the
RV back up and take it home to the family that misses it.
Thirdly, are the short trips (usually) from the owner’s
house to the RV holding area; a place off of the owner’s property where the RV
lives when not in use. This is mostly winter storage for the non-snow birds,
but it happens through the entire year, and
BICO is moving them back and forth all year long.
Lastly, which happens to be our favorite, is the camping.
Something like 13% of RV owners (which equals roughly 26% of owners that have the
extremely large and luxurious motorhomes / RV’s) are afraid to drive their own
rig. They are big, scary, and not traffic friendly. People want to own them and
camp in them, but not drive them. People actually meet their RV at the
campsite. Some people hire someone to drive it there, but after wear and tear
and the price of fuel, BICO is a whole lot less expensive to move the RV from “Point
A” to “Point B”.
And…
If you ever hear of anyone who needs an RV sitter, we’d be
more than happy to stay in your 40’ motorhome, with the three slide outs and that
72” flat screen TV. Just throwing that out there.
The truth is that RV’s of all sizes have a spot in our
hearts, and we have the want and the means to help with all of your moving and
transportation needs.
