We would like to take a moment and do something a little bit
differently, and that is share a poem. Writing is subjective; especially
poetry, and so to share this with you is exciting.
Seeing Shannon
Every morning getting up to go
Always hardest part of Josh’s day
Leaving Shannon, saying goodbye
Another long drive ahead
Kiss the kids
Kiss the wife
Kiss her once, twice, three more times
Out the door, she kicks him out
Out the window, seeing many things
Cars pass
Neighbor’s wave
Unfortunately, Shannon couldn’t come out today
He meets the people
Hauls the load
He meets the people
Drops off the load
Long day
New friends to make
Business done
Money made
A long drive, no surprise
Miles pass and coming home
Smiles grow
Mr. Fendell is finally home
